Moon Camp Has Been Secured
San Bernardino Mountains Land Trust and the Friends of Big Bear Valley are proud to announce that they have raised the $10 million needed to stop a luxury housing development threatening the pristine area known as Moon Camp, where bald eagles perch and forage.
The 63 acres of undisturbed forested open space and shoreline used by Jackie and Shadow, the beloved Big Bear bald eagle pair, will be preserved once and for all.

Conservation
Over 700 acres of protected forestland in Moonridge featuring the largest and best examples of pebble plain habitat — found nowhere else in the world. Seventeen federally protected plant species call this home.
Restoration
Restoring 120 acres of critical wildlife habitat after wildfire damage. This project includes erosion control, native plant restoration, and trail rehabilitation.
Donor Wall
Dedicate a commemorative flagstone plaque to a special organization, family, or community member. The 2nd tier is now accepting orders above the 1st tier of 86 flagstone stones.
