The San Bernardino Mountains Land Trust unveiled its dramatic flagstone donor wall at Arrowhead Ridge in Lake Arrowhead. The monument recognizes the major donors who have helped fund the ongoing restoration of this premier forest sanctuary — the last of its kind in the Lake Arrowhead area.
The ceremony also celebrated the site’s Veterans Monument, originally created as Liam Gavigan’s Eagle Scout project. The monument features granite benches engraved with emblems for all five military branches, accompanied by US, California, and POW/MIA flags. An anonymous donor ensured that a stone marking the land as the ancestral territory of the Serrano people was placed at the donor wall.
